App Review The OLX App

Sometimes in life you go through struggles and you come to a point where you have to let go of some of your precious material possessions. What am I talking about? I'm talking about selling your belongings but since we live in very advanced era we do everything on our phones lately I mean everything! In comes Olx an advertising app that helps you sell stuff you don't need (or when you are in desperate need of cash). So I'm a newbie when it comes to this kind of stuff (selling things online).


After downloading the app I tried to register but for some strange reason I couldn't (I was expecting to sign up with email address). So I navigated the app and decided to just go ahead and create an ad.




So I snapped some pics of my Xbox (I feel kind of sad that I have to let it go). I also took pics of the 4 games I wanted to bundle with the the Xbox.

I shouldn't feel so bad selling it because I hardly play it anyway but it does come in handy when the WiFi is down.


Uploading images is very easy the app is so slick that it kinda makes it fool proof so that anyone  can use the app.


Adding descriptions to what you are selling is pretty straight forward and to the point.

After doing all of this you have the option to preview your ad or go live once doing so you will be sent a pin to your phone which you had submitted earlier ( I don't know what this is for I'm still figuring out)


You also have to base your ad to a certain location, you can either have massive scale of where you are advertising to or you can just keep close to your surrounding area just  like how I did for Durban. I want my ad to be in the city center right in the heart of Durban (well for now).
